Sehr geehrter Präsident Infantino,
wir schreiben Ihnen, um die sofortige Suspendierung israelischer Fußballmannschaften von allen Wettbewerben angesichts des anhaltenden Völkermords in Gaza zu fordern.
Bis heute haben die israelischen Streitkräfte mehr als 27.000 Menschen getötet, mehr als 70% von ihnen Frauen und Kinder. Israel hat Wohnhäuser, Schulen, Krankenhäuser, Krankenwagen, Moscheen und Kirchen und sogar fliehende Zivilisten angegriffen.
Die Angriffe sind so wahllos und zerstörerisch, dass Israel vor dem Internationalen Gerichtshof wegen Völkermordes verantworten muss.
Das Ausmaß des Grauens, das der weitgehend wehrlosen palästinensischen Bevölkerung zugefügt wird, übertrifft bei weitem die Zahl der Toten der russischen Invasion in der Ukraine
Es ist daher überraschend, dass sowohl die UEFA als auch die FIFA Russland von allen Wettbewerben im Jahr 2022 ausschließen, aber weiterhin Israel ignoriert, mit dem Ergebnis, dass
die israelischen Mannschaften weiterhin ungehindert an internationalen Wettkämpfen teilnehmen
Wir sind sicher, dass Sie zustimmen werden, dass die Anwendung eines anderen Maßstabs für israelische Aktionen Ihre Glaubwürdigkeit untergräbt und Sie dem Vorwurf der politischen Voreingenommenheit und Heuchelei aussetzt.
Mit seinen jüngsten Aktionen beweist Israel, dass es eindeutig ungeeignet ist, ein
Mitglied der Gemeinschaft der Sportnationen zu sein. Wir fordern Sie dringend auf, das Richtige zu tun und die gleichen Sanktionen gegen Israel zu verhängen, wie Sie es im Fall von Russland getan haben.

Dear President Infantino,
We are writing to demand the immediate suspension of Israeli football teams
from all competitions in the light of its ongoing genocide in Gaza.
To date Israeli forces have killed over 27,000 people, more than 70% of them
women and children. Israel has attacked residential homes, schools, hospitals,
ambulances, mosques and churches and even fleeing civilians.
The onslaught is so indiscriminate and destructive that Israel has found itself
hauled before the International Court of Justice to answer charges of genocide.
In fact, the scale of the horrors being inflicted on the largely defenceless
Palestinian population far surpass the human cost of the Russian invasion of
Ukraine.
It is therefore surprising that while both UEFA and FIFA suspended Russia from
all competitions in 2022, they continue to turn a blind eye to Israel with the
result that its teams continue to participate freely in international
competitions.
We are sure you will agree that applying a different yardstick to Israeli actions
undermines your credibility and exposes you to allegations of political bias and
hypocrisy.
With its recent actions, Israel is demonstrating that it is clearly unfit to be a
member of the community of sporting nations. We urge you to the right thing
and apply the same sanctions to Israel that you have done in the case of
Russia.
